I’m based in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, where I capture life’s most meaningful moments with a focus on timeless, intentional storytelling. My journey behind the camera started with a simple fascination for light and how it can turn an ordinary moment into something powerful and lasting.
I moved here from Amsterdam in 2020 with my wife and our two kids, and this place quickly became home. When I’m not in the studio or on location, I work part time as a firefighter, and spend as much of my free time as I can fishing and camping with my family.
Over the past decade, I’ve developed a style that blends cinematic depth with natural, candid emotion. I believe photography should feel real and effortless, not staged. Whether I’m capturing a wedding, a portrait session, or building a brand’s visual identity, I focus on the genuine connections and moments that matter most.
My work is deeply inspired by the landscape around me. The forests, the lake, and the changing seasons all shape the mood and tone of what I create. My goal is always the same: to produce images that feel just as meaningful years from now as they do today.
For me, photography is not just about taking pictures. It is about creating something personal. Something lasting. Something that tells your story in a way that feels true.
